Sealed bids will be accepted at the Housing Authority of the City of Wilmington North Carolina (WHA Central Office), until date and time noted below.   Bids will be opened and recorded immediately thereafter at the Central Office (CO), 1524 South 16th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.

 

  • Deadline date: Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
  • Specifications/Plans will be available for pickup beginning Friday, Friday January 11th at the Central Office.

Upon written request to the Chief Executive Officer, bids will be available after contract award.  NO BIDS SHALL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE.  FAXED NEITHER COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

NEW CONSTRUCTION DAWSON LOFT APARTMENT BUILDING

 

The Housing Authority of the City of Wilmington, NC (hereinafter referred to as “WHA”) is seeking proposals for New Construction of a single two story walkup, Dawson Loft Apartment Building.  It is the intention of the WHA through this solicitation to enter into a contract with a General Contractor to construct 24 apartments consisting of 12 one bedrooms and 12 two bedrooms units located at Dawson Street and South 10th Street Wilmington, North Carolina 28401.

Pre-Bid Conference schedule on Tuesday, February 12th at 2:30 pm. Proposals shall be due no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, Friday, February 22, 2019.  Submittals will not be accepted after this deadline. Submittals must be sealed and will be received at the following address: Housing Authority of the City of Wilmington, N.C., Procurement Department, and Attention: Chauntrell Burns located 1524 S. 16th Street, Wilmington, N.C. 28401. The successful candidates shall be required to possess all applicable licenses, certifications, insurance and bonding.
